Design Consultation
We begin with a two-hour consultation on site so we can best learn about you and your project. During this meeting, we will take measurements, and photos of your space; define the scope of work for your project; discuss your budget; and review our Interior Design Process and contract with you.
Design Concept Development
If you decide to hire us for the design of your project, you will sign our “Letter of Agreement for Design Services” which outlines the description and Scope of Work for your project. Make a deposit towards the design fee. We will then begin the design development process for your project which includes establishing your style through photo collection; collaborate with the necessary trades to review your project details; create renderings/elevations; and selection of all finishes, furniture, lighting and window treatments.
Design Presentation and Review
Once the design concept is completed, we will present plans and selections to you for review. You may choose to take the design concepts, floor plans and materials, and implement them on your own at your own pace, as well as handle your own purchasing or you may hire us to complete the entire project for you.
Purchase Management
If you do decide to hire us to complete the project, we do require a deposit to start the purchase management on your behalf. We will create purchase orders for the project as well as negotiate with vendors on the best price for your project. We will pay great attention during this process to keeping the project with in budget. We will work closely with vendors and contractors to resolve any outstanding issues.
Installation and Accessorizing
This process can be completed in one day or over several days, depending on the size of the project. We make sure that this process goes smoothly and items are implemented properly within the space. Once the installation and accessorizing are completed, there is a final walk through of the newly completed space with you. Our involvement continues even after the installation as we always work to accommodate our clients’ and their families’ ongoing needs.
